Robert B "Pete" Craig, 70, a lifetime resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Thursday, January 22, 2004. He was born June 27, 1933 the son of Franklin Boyd and Mary Jean Lyon Craig in Albuquerque. Pete was self employed, owner of a pest control company. He loved being involved and serving his community. Pete was preceded in death by his parents, Boyd and Mary. Pete is survived by his children, Michael P. Craig, Kelly A. Craig, Dana E. Craig, Lonnie Z. Craig, Claire R. Craig, and Thomas H. Statkus; sister, Betty Grubesic and husband Al; brother, Joe D. Craig and wife Pam; and two grandchildren, Justin "Johnny" L. Craig and Shelby "Rudy" C. Craig, several nephews and nieces, and lifelong friend, William "Bill" McMahon and wife Carol. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 27, 2004 at 11:00 AM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary, Sara Rd. at Meadowlark Ln., Rio Rancho with the Service at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of Vista Verde Mortuary. Interment will follow in Vista Verde Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Michael Craig, Lonnie Craig, Justin Craig, Roger Madrid, Jack Oechsler, and Willie Saiz.
