Betty Otero, 83, a long time resident of Albuquerque, passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2004. She is survived by her son, Terry Otero and wife, Dyann of Green Bay, Wisconsin; daughter, Janice Otero of Albuquerque, NM; and grandchildren, Michelle and Yvonne Otero. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, William "Bill" Otero. Betty was a graduate of Albuquerque High School and a local business college. She was an active and talented artist, an avid tennis player and was a founding member of the Tennis Club of Albuquerque. Memorial services will be held Saturday, 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel with Pastor Rick Donaho officiating. Interment of cremains will be at Santa Fe National Cemetery, Santa Fe, NM.
