Walter E. "Chick" Frantz, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, passed away January 17, 2004 at the age of 93. He is survived by his wife of 72 years, Adele Frantz; his daughter, Ernestine Norris and husband, Harold, of San Diego; grandchildren, Vicki Perez, Gary Norris, and Teresa Stephens; seven great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren. Mr. Frantz served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He owned and operated Mesa Markets in Espanola and Los Alamos. He will be greatly missed. At his request, no services will be held.
