Ismay Eugene Gemon, 83, a longtime resident of Albuquerque, went home to be with the Lord on January 17th, after a long illness. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Manny and their daughter Monette. She is survived by her daughters, Cathy Hill and husband, Steve of Albuquerque, Daleann Williams and husband, Adrian of Colorado Springs, Daphne Fung and husband, Claude of Toronto, and Mignnone Gullin and husband, George of Quebec. Ismay was a life long member of the Presbyterian Church and served as a Deacon at Bedford Central in her hometown of Brooklyn, New York and also at New Life Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. She was a current member of Shepherd of the Valley Presbyterian Church in Albuquerque. Ismay had many friends at the Rio Rancho Nursing Home where she lived under their loving care for the past 7 years. A visitation will be held on Monday January 19th, from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Sunrise Funeral Options, 2400 Southern Boulevard in Rio Rancho. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. also in the Chapel. Interment will follow at Vista Verde Memorial Park, 4310 Sara Road (Sara Rd. @ Meadowlark Ln.) in Rio Rancho.
