Obituary for WILSON

Lee Jerome Wilson, 53, passed away in a local hospital on January 12, 2004, after a brief illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bruce and Nina Wilson. He is survived by his family members Leonard and wife Billie, Mary, Gina and husband Fred, Louis and wife Margaret, Maureen and husband Steve, and Mark; extended family, most especially Nathan and Sarah, and his dear Aunt Dell. His family moved to Albuquerque from Salina, Kansas, when Lee was 10 years old. He later attended Highland High School and graduated from the University of New Mexico with a degree in Fine Arts. His passion was the creation of many beautiful works of art, the fulfillment of his gift and calling in life. Lee' s free spirit blessed him throughout his life with the commitment to care for and befriend many small animals. Lee preserved in his artistic expression despite many adversities, even in the last days of his life. His friends and family will miss his compassion, keen wit and wry sense of humor.
