O.T. Thorp, 91, a resident of Albuquerque since 1971, died Thursday, January 15, 2004. He is survived by his son, Larry W. Thorp and wife, Sue of Santa Fe; granddaughter, Cheryl Maes of Santa Fe; grandson, David Thorp and wife, Chris of Ft. Collins, CO; great-grandchildren, Conan, Amanda, Justin and Sydney; sister, Hazel Turnbow of Richardson, TX; and brother, Woodrow Thorp of Williamsburg, NM. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Pauline Thorp in 2001. O.T. loved to travel and had many wonderful trips with his wife, Pauline. He was known by his CB handle "Over Time" by his friends all over the country who he met during his travels. He was a devoted husband to his wife, a loving father and grandfather. Cryptside services will be held Monday, January 19, 2004, 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menual NE.
