Johnny E. Sanchez, 65, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, January 16, 2004. He was preceded in death by a brother, Edenio Sanchez. He is survived by his wife, Ruthellen Sanchez; one son, Eric Sanchez wife, Doris; one daughter, Dionne Sanchez; mother, Julia Sanchez; first wife, Antonia Panebouef; three brothers, Albert Sanchez and wife, Lenore, Roman “Ray” Sanchez, wife, Suzette and Alonzo “Al” Sanchez and wife, Kenny; three sisters, Gloria Sanchez and husband, Gil, Felia Rodarte and Ignacio Chavez and Violanda McGill and husband, Perry; four grandchildren, Erica Sanchez, Crystal Sanchez, John Sanchez and James Sanchez; and one great-grandson, Julian Eric Sanchez. A Rosary will be recited on Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. in the Stover Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. at the San Jose Catholic Church. Burial will follow at the Pinos Wells Cemetery in Pinos Wells, NM. Pallbearers will be Albert Sanchez, Alonzo Sanchez, Roman Sanchez, Eric Sanchez, Ignacio Chavez and Ralph Piaz.
