Sherri Lynette, 44, passed away Saturday, January 10, 2004. She was born in Indiana, served in the US Navy, graduated from the University of New Mexico, and did volunteer work for the a local gastric bypass clinic. Sherri is survived by daughter, Rachel Ivana De Young; mother, Wanda Karkkinen; step-father, John Karkkinen; Ronald Rex Stanley; brother, Rex D. Stanley; sister, Ronda Stanley Hossom; grandfather, Jack Hallatt; nephews, Grant and Justin; niece, Stacy; numerous other family and friends who loved and will miss her. Memorial services will be held at Heights Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 8600 Academy Road NE, on Thursday, January 15, 2004, at 11:00 a.m. Pastor Don Wilson officiating.
