Millie Melecia Romero, 92, a resident of Albuquerque, NM and most recently of Los Lunas, NM, passed away on Sunday, January 11, 2004. Millie worked for Lovelace Medical Center in Albuquerque for over 20 years of outstanding service, retiring in 1979. She is preceded in death by her mother, Bonifacia Fresquez; her son Miquel Tudesque; and her grandson, Richard Duran. Millie is survived by one loving son, Joseph T. Tudesque of Albuquerque; and two loving daughters, Stella Howell of Albuquerque; and Annabelle and her husband, Larry Tafoya of Los Lunas; her eight grandchildren, Arlene Alsup; Joe E. Tudesque; Christine Vigil; Ross D. Gomez; John Humphries; Paul Humphries; Gabriel Howell; Michael Alarid; many great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and one sister, Irene Gonzales of Santa Fe, NM. Millie is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 14, 2004 at Romero Funeral Home at 12:30 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 1:00pm with Pastor Richard Chavez officiating.
