Lois Dean Findley, 92, went to be with her Lord Friday, January 9, 2004. Born in Hardeman County, Texas, raised in House, New Mexico, she attended Montezuma Baptist College. A resident of Albuquerque since 1937, she was preceded in death by her husband of 31 years, Elza E. Findley. She is survived by daughter, Rita Stone, of Del Rio, Texas; sons, Thestal Don and wife Martha of Houston, Texas; Clint and wife Margaret of Highland Haven, Texas; Jim and wife Kathy of Tijeras, New Mexico; Gary and wife Betty of Pasadena, Texas; and Harold and wife Lori of Grandview, Washington; 19 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 13, 2004, at 3:00 p.m. at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, 10500 Lomas Blvd. NE. Dr. Gary Hamburger will officiate. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Lois to Hope Foundation-Hope Christian School, 6800 Palomas Ave. NE, Albuquerque, New Mexico 87109.
