Elizabeth Jewel Davis Branch, 84, a resident of Logan, NM, died Thursday, December 25, 2003, in Rio Rancho, NM, after a short illness. Her great-grandchildren, Raymond and Monique, felt it was a great honor that she returned to God on the day that we celebrate the gift of his Son, Jesus. She was preceded in death by her husband, George Franklin Branch, Sr. She is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth "Beth" Jewel Clark and husband, Ray of Logan, NM; son, George Franklin Branch, Jr. and wife, Nancy of Edgewater, MD; grandchildren, Elizabeth "Bett" J. Clark of Edgewood, NM, Rebecca S. Jee and husband, Adrien "Chuck" of Rio Rancho, NM, and Theresa A. Lannon of Edgewater, MD; great-grandchildren, Raymond and Monique Jee of Rio Rancho, NM and Christina and Michelle Lannon of Edgewater, MD. Cremation has already taken place. Pastor Jeannie Williams will lead a "Celebration of Life" at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 17, 2004, at the Logan United Methodist Church in Logan, New Mexico. Another "Celebration of Life" service will take place on August 2, 2004, in Wilmington, North Carolina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Education Fund at The Cottages of Albuquerque, 3921 Juan Tabo Pl. NE, 87112, or to the church or charity of your choice.
