Josephine G. Piro, age 85, beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt was called to Our Father's Heavenly Home Tuesday, December 30, 2003. Our mom was born in Socorro, NM and was a long time resident of Albuquerque, NM. Josephine is survived by three daughters, Mary Theresa Saiz and husband, Joe Saiz of Albuquerque, Stella Silva and husband, J.R. Silva of Albuquerque and Louisa Rhoades and husband, Bob Rhoades, also of Albuquerque. She is also survived by eight grandchildren, Rita Saiz of Las Vegas, NV, Sylvia, Diana, Pauline, Joseph, Liz and husband, Russ Dunning, Fred, and Precious, all of Albuquerque; 11 great-grandchildren, Veronica, Daisy and husband Rogelio Robles, Jessie Boy Chavez, Junior, Bernard, Reynaldo, Angelina, Josephine, Zachary, Joshua and Amanda, all of Albuquerque; and two great great-grandchildren, Rogelio Robles Jr. and Jesse Chavez Jr. Josephine is also survived by one brother, Philip Gallegos and one sister, Mary Posada, both of Stockton, CA and many nieces and nephews. Our Mom will be greatly missed by everyone. Our Mom had such a very kind and generous heart. Mom and grandmother had plenty of love for everyone. Our Mom was a member of Iglesia de Cristo. She was a beautiful and lovely, mother and grandmother. Our Mom had a great love for Our Heavenly Father. We will always have our mom, grandma, aunt and sister placed in our hearts always and forever. Visitation for Mrs. Piro will be held on Sunday from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. with a Wake Service to follow at 3:00 p.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Funeral Services will be held on Monday, January 5, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Salazar & Sons Mortuary. Burial will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jesse Chavez, Fred Peralta, Julian Gallegos, Charlie Gallegos, Eddie Gallegos and Louie Gallegos. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob, Joseph and Junior.
