Senaida Martinez, age 81, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother was called to our heavenly Fathers home, Thursday, Januray 1, 2004. Senaida was born in Guadalupe, NM and was a resident of San Ysidro, NM. She was a parishioner of San Ysidro Catholic Church in San Ysidro, NM; a life member of the Miraculous Medal Association, and of Los Cursillos in Christianity. Senaida is survived by her loving husband of 56 years, Ramon L. Martinez of the family home; her wonderful son, Cresencio M. Martinez and wife Barbara; three precious grandchildren, Eric C. Martinez and wife Kristi of Snohomish, WA, Lysa M. Martinez of Albuquerque, NM, and Cresencio M. Martinez of California; two great-grandchildren, Scott and Jordan Martinez. Also surviving are two brothers, Albert Salas, Urban Salas and wife Elsie both of Albuquerque; nieces, nephews and other relatives. Senaida will be greatly missed by her loving family and by those who knew and loved her. Visitations will be held Sunday from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A Rosary will be recited Sunday at 7:00 p.m. also in the chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 11:30 a.m. at San Ysidro Catholic Church in San Ysidro, NM. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at 2:30 p.m. Casket bearers will be Henry Salas, Paul Chavez, Joe N. Lucero, Adam Salas, Bobby Montano, and Ralph Montano.
