Arnold E. Bentz, 82, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Wednesday, December 31, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Lillian Bentz; son, Melvin P. Bentz and wife, Rhonda; daughter-in-law, Cathy Bentz; grandchildren, Jeremiah, Gabriel, Marisa, and Matthew; brother, Otto Bentz; and sister, Esther Lloyd. He was preceded in death by his son, Arnold F. Bentz in 2002. Mr. Bentz retired from Sandia Labs after 37 years of service. Memorial service will be Monday at 2:00 p.m. at French Mortuary-Westside Chapel with Pastor Philip Wangberg, officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Fe National Cemetery at a later date.
