Mary Kathryn Rigel, 91, of Chalmette, LA. Beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt went to her heavenly home Sunday, December 14, 2003. She was born February 28, 1912 in Windsor, CO. Mrs. Rigel resided in Albuquerque from 1990 to 2000. At the time of her death, she resided at Sloans Sonshine Home in Chalmette, LA. She loved life and was a great story teller. While in Albuquerque, she enjoyed Thursday meetings with her friends, "The Golden Girls". Survivors are two daughters, Georgia M. Davis and husband, Bob of Albuquerque and Mary Jane Bordelon and husband, Tommy and Mary Jane's former husband, Philip J. Dragon all of Violet, LA; three sons, James D. (Bud) Rigel and wife, Lena of Albuquerque, William B. Rigel and wife, LeAnn of Lutz, FL and Robert E. Rigel of Oakland, CA; two brothers, Harry Jacoby and wife, Buelah of LaSalle, CO and Rueben Jacoby and wife, Betty of Johnstown, CO; nieces and nephews; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. Services were held December 18, 2003 in Greeley, CO. Interment was at the Johnstown, CO Cemetery. We want to thank everyone for their kindness with calls, cards, flowers and most of all your love and prayers.
