Obituary for VALDEZ

Mr. Luis J. Valdez, a resident of Fort Sumner, New Mexico moved to Albuquerque in 1981 passed away on December 28, 2003. Mr. Valdez is survived by his one sister, Esther V. Garcia; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Valdez was a member of the Catholic Church and a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving during World War II. A Visitation for Mr. Valdez will be Tuesday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 562 Atrisco SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. by Juan Sandoval. A final visitation will be Wednesday morning from 10:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. by a Franciscan Friar. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Deacon Juan Martinez will do the Committal Service with Military Honors by the D.A.V. Chapter #3. Pallbearers will be, Ernie Otero, Jessie Otero, Michael Trujillo, Leroy Nieto, Ray Nieto and Marcos Nieto. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd. SW 243-7861
