Obituary for GUILLEN

George F. Guillen, age 59, beloved and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, nephew and friend was called home to our Heavenly Father, on December 18, 2003 while surrounded by his loving family. George was born in Albuquerque and was a resident of Bernalillo. He was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows Church; active Chairperson for the annual church Fiestas de San Lorenzo and Car Shows; and was a professional Painter for 40 years. George is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, Darlene Guillen of the family home; his wonderful children, George A. Guillen and wife Monica, Anna Roybal and husband Joe, Lynn Guillen and partner Jennifer Welty; his precious granddaughters, Amber, Briana, Sonia and Jasmin Roybal, Amanda and Erica Jaramillo. Also surviving are one brother David Guillen and wife Vivian; his special sister, Clotilde Guillen; special uncles, Ernest and Frank Guillen; other relatives and a host of friends. George will be greatly missed by his loving family and by those who knew and loved him. Visitations will be Monday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 7:00 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Church in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Casket bearers will be Phillip Velverde, Kevin Fitzsimmons, Timmy Baros, Anthony Jaramillo, Amor Gonzales, and Albert Griego. Honorary bearers will be Ernest Guillen, Frank Guillen and Todd Culp. Funeral Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
