Leona Irene Oskins, our beloved mother and grandma. Lovey passed away Tuesday, December 16, 2003. She was born in Waynesville, IL, April 24, 1910. She moved to New Mexico in 1952 and was a resident of Los Lunas for the last ten years. Mrs. Oskins was preceded in death by her loving husband and son. She is survived by her loving family: daughter, Jeanne Oskins of Los Lunas; son, Jack Oskins and wife, Delores of Hilo, HI; son, Tim Oskins and wife, Darlene of Star, TX; two brothers; one sister; and many nephews, nieces, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Saturday, 1:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul NE, with Rev. Clyde Stanfield officiating. Friends may visit French Mortuary, University Blvd. Chapel, Friday, 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The family wishes to thank the staff and residents of Laurel Meadows Nursing Home for their care and support.
