Obituary for MONTANO

Mr. Bennie J. Montano, 82, a resident of Albuquerque passed away on December 17, 2003. Mr. Montano is the beloved husband of 50 years to Mrs. Adela Montano. Mr. Montano is also survived by two daughters, Benita Montano and Cynthia Montano; two sons, John Montano and Paul Montano; seven grandchildren, Leonard, Vanessa, Desiree, Cassandra, Amber, Clorissa and Christopher; two great grandchildren, Josiah and Marianna; one sister, Lucy Garcia and husband, Ray; several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mr. Montano was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War I I. A visitation for Mr. Montano will be Friday evening from 6:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Church of the Ascension, 2150 Raymac SW with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Saturday morning from 9:30 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at Church of the Ascension with Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. by Father Edmund Savilla. Interment will follow at the Pajarito Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, Larry Lopez, Leonard Gonzales, Kerry Murphy, James Chavez, Gene Gallegos and Juan S. Esquibel. Honorary pallbearers will be, Ralph Maldonado, Margarito Sedillo, Manuel Miranda and Isidore Atencio. Arrangements by: Gabaldon Mortuary 1000 Old Coors Rd SW 243-7861
