Rita A. Hauke, 77, a lifelong resident of Bernalillo, died Wednesday, December 17, 2003. She is survived by her husband, Ralph Hauke of Bernalillo; sisters, Theresa Schiller of El Sobrante, CA and Tillie Montoya and husband, Horace of Albuquerque; brother, Ray Sandoval and wife, Sylvia of Albuquerque; sister-in-law, Helen Torres; children, Ron Abousleman and wife, Helen and Gary Abousleman and wife, Mary Rose, all of Bernalillo, Jim Hauke and wife, Gina of Albuquerque, Rod Hauke and wife, Rose of Rio Rancho, Nathan Hauke and wife, Cathy of Yorktown, VA, Rafel Hauke and wife, Melissa of Rio Rancho and Clay Hauke and wife, Penny of Tucson, AZ; grandchildren, Tamara and husband, Arash , Greg, Mona and husband, Kevin, Matthew, Gabrielle, Danny, Dillon, Robert, Ben, Amanda Catherine, Natalie, Kaitlyn, Eric, Jimmy, Amanda and Shelby; and a great-grandchild, Alexander. Mrs. Hauke was a very loving and caring wife, mother and grandmother. She was a longtime employee of Bernalillo Public Schools. After her retirement, she and her husband, Ralph, enjoyed traveling together. She had great joy spending time with her family. Rosary will be recited Friday, December 19, 2003, at 7:00 p.m., at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 301 Camino del Pueblo in Bernalillo. Mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 20, 2003, at 12:00 noon, also at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, with Father Bill Sanchez, Celebrant. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
