Obituary for CORDERO

Tomas E. Cordero II, 64, born in El Paso, TX and originally from Los Angles passed away peacefully Tuesday evening at the V.A. Medical Center in Albuquerque. Mr. Cordero had been suffering for several years from heart and stroke ailments. Having made Albuquerque his home for the past 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Jerrina; two sons, Jerome Rio and Tomas III; and two daughters, Jerrina Jr. and Tomasina; two sons- in-law, Michael Sanchez and Stephen Kleinhenz all from Albuquerque; 13 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; two sisters from Los Angeles, Mary Cordero and Norma Cordero; and one brother from Phoenix, Louie Cordero. Included in the Cordero extended family are Mike, Keith, Alicia and Debra. Visitations will be held on Sunday from 6:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. with a Rosary to follow at 7:00 p.m. in the Eighth Street Chapel of Garcia Mortuary. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church . Interment will take place at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Tomas Cordero III, Jerome Rio Cordero, Mike Sanchez, Michael Sanchez Jr., Stephen G. Kleinhenz and Steve Luster. Honorary pallbearer will be Ian MacKellar. Services are in the care of: Garcia Mortuary 717 Stover Ave. SW 243-5222
