George W. Meeks, 57, a resident of Farmington, NM for 20 years, passed away on November 29, 2003. He is survived by his son, George Justin Meeks and fianc, Laura Kepler of Rio Rancho, NM; son, Deryk; brothers, Dean Meeks and wife, Sue of Boise, Idaho, Gene Meeks and wife, Sue of Boise, Idaho and Bob Meeks of Arizona; sisters, Patty Main of Twin Falls, Idaho, Earlene Meeks of California and Julie Rupe of Wyoming. George is also survived by his 3 best friends, George Hood, Jim Doss and Jack Otero all of Farmington, NM. He is preceded in death by 3 brothers and 3 sisters. George was a US Army Veteran serving in Vietnam. Cremation has taken place and a graveside service will be held on Monday at 11:30 a.m. at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
