Eva M. Nicholas, 96, passed away on Saturday, November 29, 2003 at Manor Care Nursing Home. She was born in Aurora, S. Dakota on April 25, 1907. She was a longtime resident of Tucson, AZ and moved to Albuquerque in 1999. Her parents were Jerrod and Elma Phillips and she was one of 10 children. She is survived by her daughters, Wanda F. Hagmeyer of Shreveport, LA, Mary E. Henry and husband, William, of Gilroy, CA, and Madonna E. Watkins and husband, Charles, of Albuquerque; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by her husband, Rolland Nicholas. Services will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2003, at 10:00 a.m. at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Rev. Francis Rath officiating.
