Shirley J. Steller, 77, a resident of Albuquerque since 1957, died Friday, November 28, 2003. She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Steller Hrad of Plano, TX; and her beloved dog, Noel. She was preceded in death by her husband of 34 years, Stretch Steller. Mrs. Steller was a member and officer of the Gamma Delta Chapter of Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority. Services will be held Thursday, December 4, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Chris McKee officiating. Interment will follow at 1:00 p.m., at Santa Fe National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Vince Lardner Jr., Tim Lardner, John Lardner, Paul Layer Jr., John Mechenbier and Jeff Kern. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Wednesday, December 3, 2003, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Rolling Hills Wildlife Refuge, 625 North Hedville Road, Salina, KS, 67401.
