Lupe B. Otero, or "Gonga" as she was known by her family, passed away peacefully in the presence of her family on November 27, 2003. She was preceded in death by her loving husband Jesus, her son Jesse, her parents Leopoldo and Carlota Baca, and her brother Tony Baca. Survivors include her daughters Jessica Otero and Beatrice LaBerge and her husband David; grandsons Bryan LaBerge and his wife Allyson; Craig LaBerge and his life partner J.R Esparza; Adam Otero; Jared Otero; great granddaughter Kaitlyn LaBerge; her brother George Baca; and numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Sunday, November 30th from 3:00 - 6:00 PM at Salazar and Sons Mortuary. A Rosary is scheduled for November 30 at 7:00 PM at St. Anne's Parish. Funeral and burial plans are pending. Pallbearers are Bryan LaBerge, Craig LaBerge, Jared Otero, David LaBerge, J.R. Esparza and Allyson LaBerge. Honorary pallbearers include Raymond Baca and Chris Baca.
