Patrick Hanes, age 38, made his transition suddenly on 11-21-03. Patrick leaves his mother, Donna Schwarz; brother, Jeffrey Hanes; niece, Demi Hanes; best friend, Heather Sanders and her son, Josh; his father, Charles Hanes and many relatives and good friends. Patrick loved life and his profession as an R.N. He was an avid snowboarder, windsurfer, rollerblader and fitness buff. Patrick graduated from Manzano H.S. in 1983. He earned his B.S. in Nursing at UNM in 2001. Patrick will be remembered for his thoughtfulness, caring attitude and wonderful sense of humor. His spirit will always live on in those who knew and loved him. A gathering to celebrate his life will be held on Sunday, November 30 from 1:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Call 823-6617 for directions.
