Mrs. Mary A. Gabaldon, 76, a resident of Albuquerque, went home to our Lord on November 19, 2003 peacefully at home in the arms of her loving family. Mrs. Gabaldon is the beloved wife of 56 years to Mr. Joe L. Gabaldon. Mrs. Gabaldon is also survived by one son, Joe Gabaldon Jr. and wife, Marcella; one daughter, Dora Gonzales and husband, Roberto; two brothers, Juan Apodaca, Abran Apodaca and wife, Edwina; four grandchildren, Robert and wife Aura, Jonathan, Desmond, Marlena and husband Andrew; three great grandchildren, James, Adriana and Liberty Mary; many nieces, nephews, cousins, Godchildren and friends. Mrs. Gabaldon was a devoted member of the Catholic Church, a spiritual mother to several intimate friends. A visitation will be Sunday afternoon from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at San Felipe de Neri Catholic Church, 2005 Plaza NW with a Rosary to be recited at 2:00 p.m. A final visitation will be Monday morning from 10:45 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at San Felipe Church with Mass of the Resurrection to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the Santa Fe National Cemetery at 1:30 p.m. Pallbearers will be, Robert Gonzales, Jonathan Gonzales, Desmond Gonzales, Vivian Baca, Rusty Apodaca and Michael Apodaca.
