Genevieve A. Dominguez, 46, died on November 19, 2003. Genevieve was born on June 5, 1957. She is preceded in death by Grandmother Mary Miera; and niece Rachael Thornton. Survivors include father, Ernest Dominguez; mother, Bertha Ojeda; brothers, Phillip Dominguez and wife Daniela, Mark Dominguez and wife Sharon, Alan Armijo and wife Adrianna; sisters, Liz Shaver and husband Randy, Beverly Bowlin and husband Todd, Debra Thornton and husband Jeff; nieces, Jessica and Katelyn Bowlin, Nicole Shaver, Samantha Dominguez, Alana Armijo, Heather Thornton; nephews, Matthew Shaver, Jonathan Dominguez, Chris Thornton, Alonzo Armijo; and her loving, faithful dog Popcorn. Genevieve graduated from Del Norte High School in 1975. She was an avid gardener as well as a former ballet dancer, dancing with the New Mexico Ballet. Genevieve had a big and loving heart. A visitation will be held Monday, November 24, 2003 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Fitzgerald and Son Funeral Directors with a Rosary to follow. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, November 25, 2003 at 12:00 noon at Queen of Heaven, 5310 Claremont NE. Interment will follow at Mt. Calvary Cemetery.
