Obituary for POPER

Ruth Esther Poper, 90, a resident of Albuquerque since 1949, died Tuesday, November 18, 2003. She is survived by one son, Lee Poper and wife, Tina of Corrales; three daughters, Ruby Kolb and husband, Russell of Spring City, PA, Joan Frey and husband, Paul of Santa Fe and Shirley Camilli and husband, Jerry of Corrales; daughter-in-law, Arlene Miller and husband, Levi; 11 grandsons; six granddaughters; seven great-grandsons; seven great-granddaughters; two brothers, Charles Swartz and wife, Shirley and Samuel Swartz and wife, Phyllis; and two sisters, Millie Davis and husband, Paul and Edith Landis and husband, Bob. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cletus; son, Richard Poper; and grandson, Kenny Poper. Mrs. Poper was a member of Sandia Brethren in Christ Mennonite Church. Services will be held Saturday, November 22, 2003, at 3:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, with Dr. Marion J. Heisey officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Pallbearers will be Horacio Frey, Jeremy Poper, Jacob Poper, Garrett Poper, Brandon Camilli and Austin Poper. Honorary pallbearers will be Kade Poper, Graden Poper, Ryan Beach and Justin Camilli. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Friday, November 21, 2003, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Should friends desire, memorial contributions may be made in memory of Ruth Poper to the Albuquerque Rescue Mission, Inc., PO Box 351, 87103.
