Obituary for PALMER

Robert Madden Palmer passed away November 12, 2003. He was born March 28, 1912 to parents Levering Palmer and Pearl Klotz Palmer in Carthage Illinois. Bob (as he preferred to be called) was a Disabled Veteran of WWII. He served with the Military Police and Border Patrol. In his lifetime Bob has been head maintenance at Camp Pendleton in San Diego California; he also worked for many years as a dispatcher in the Fire Department at Los Alamos. He was also an electrician, and had a Ranch in Ojo Calente. In 1969 Bob Married Agneda Sanchez, a teacher in Rio Arriba County Schools. Over the Years Bob and Agneda lived at the ranch in Ojo Calente, Later moving to Alcalde, and finally to Albuquerque. They also had a winter home in Brownsville, Texas. Bob is preceded in death by his sister, Mary; and his brother, Paul. Bob is survived by his wife, Agneda; his daughter, Melissa and her husband, Jeff; three grandchildren, David, Jason, and Mary; and five great-grandchildren, Deven, Shawn, Vivian, Jeffery, and Brinan; Bob is also survived by six nieces and nephews, children of his brother Paul. Viewing is going to be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 21, 2003 at Metropolitan Direct Burial, located on San Mateo South of Lomas, in Albuquerque. Memorial Mass is to be held at St. Therese Church, at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, November 22, 2003 also in Albuquerque.
