Maria Martinez a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, passed away late Thursday night. Maria was born January 2, 1919. She was a proud member of the San Ignacio Choir and Rosary Group. She is preceded in death by her father, Guadalupe; stepmother, Sophia; husband, Ralph; and sister, Amada Martinez. Maria is survived by her brothers, Ramon Martinez, Pedro Martinez; sisters, Josie Lopez, Conception Sanchez; and many nieces and nephews; and great-nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Delfino Chavez, Lupe Sanchez, Johnny Sanchez and Anthony Lopez. Services for Mrs. Martinez are pending and will be annouced.
