Ret. Lt. Colonel James D. Percifield, 88, died on Saturday, November 1, 2003. He served in the Army during the Korean War and World War II. He retired as an Administrator for the Lovelace Foundation. James is survived by his wife, Frances L. Percifield, who resides at the Village at Alameda; children, Robert Pulaski and wife, Sarah, of Plano, Texas; Donna L. Zellner and husband, Wayne, of Albuquerque; Jerry Percifield and wife, Judy Hammack, of Atlanta, Georgia; and Barbara Velarde and Glenn Hilgedick, of Longmont, Colorado; eleven grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren; brother, Robert Percifield and wife, Inda, of Indianapolis, Indiana; and sister Lois Jean Ursiny of Carmel, Indiana. He will be missed by all. Services will be held Thursday, November 6, 2003, at 2:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel. Cremation will follow services. Friends may visit French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel, Thursday, November 6, 2003, from 1:00 p.m. until time of services.
