Miguel O. Herrera, age 80, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 28, 2003 at Kaseman Presbyterian Hospice. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Mary; son, Anthony of Albuquerque; daughter and son-in-law, Geri Agustin and Stan Agustin of Albuquerque; grandchildren, Elena Agustin and Vincent Agustin of Albuquerque. He was preceded in death by his son, Michael G. Herrera. Miguel was born in Escondida, NM. He was in the military from December 1942 to January 1946. He was a teacher at the Santa Fe Indian School and later moved to Albuquerque and taught at TVI for 22 years. Since retiring from TVI, he has resided in Albuquerque. Rosary Services will be on Monday, November 3, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. at Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming Blvd. NE. Funeral Services will be at Risen Savior Catholic Church on Tuesday, November 4, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Mausoleum, 7500 Paseo del Norte NE. The family would like to extend their gratitude for all the prayers and well-wishes from family and friends.
