Ilene M. Henry, 58, a resident of Albuquerque, daughter of Bernhard and Irene Wegner, was called home to heaven after a four-year battle with breast cancer. Ilene was at peace and passed away in her sleep while in the comfort of her home. During the final weeks of her life, she was cared for and supported by her two daughters and husband of 35 years. She is survived by her loving husband, Warren Henry; daughters, Michelle Henry and Tracy Sanchez; son-in-law, M. Brandon Sanchez; and grandsons, Isaac and Andrew Sanchez. Ilene was an active member of Christ Lutheran Church for 25 years. Her strength and faith in the Lord was an inspiration to many. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 1, 2003, at 11:00 a.m., at Christ Lutheran Church, 7701 Candelaria NE. Interment will take place at Santa Fe National Cemetery.
