Obituary for SNYDER

Camille, 76, born June 10, 1927; died, October 22, 2003. Camille and Ken Snyder followed Camille's mother Jessie P. Antene to Albuquerque in 1952. Ken Snyder passed away in 1992. Camille owned a lady's store founded in the early 70's called "CAMILLES". Camille was known as a wonderful, compassionate business woman. She helped many women, when they had a radical mastectomy, be fitted with prosthesis, and held seminars to help with the transition. She was instrumental in getting major insurance companies to recognize the importance of covering the expense of prosthesis. Camille wishes were that "CAMILLES" would continue under the capable control of her daughter, Judy Wingate. Camille will be best remembered for her compassion for her family and friends. Camille is survived by three children, Kenny Snyder Jr. and wife, Kathleen, Judy Wingate and husband, Charlie, and Denny Snyder and wife, Elayne. There are four grandchildren, Kenny Snyder III, Robert Keith Raymond, Brian Raymond, Autumn Kelly Snyder-Wade; and five great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., at Sunrise Funeral Options, 7601 Wyoming NE, the corner of Wyoming and San Francisco, October 25, 2003.
