Reynaldo A. Chavez. His journey on earth is over. He is now with his Beloved Maker. Ray was born on April 30, 1943 to Patricia and Anselmo Chavez, and passed away October 16, 2003. He was raised in the Sawmill area of Albuquerque. After his Honorable discharge from the US Navy, he spent his time as an artist. Reynaldo was preceded in death by his father ,;Anselmo Chavez and is survived by his dear mother, Patricia; sisters, Helen Pacheco, Rose Mary Chavez, Roberta Montoya and husband, Michael; brother, Ricardo Chavez; aunt, Tonie Pacheco, and many other family and friends who loved and will miss him. Memorial Services will be held at San Felipe Catholic Church in Old Town. A Rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 23, 2003. Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, October 24, 2003. Burial will take place at later date. Arrangements by Direct Funeral Services, 2919 4th ST. NW. ABQ. 505-343-8008.
