Obituary for REMALY

Connie Rose Remaly nee Fina, age 51, wife of Martin Remaly, of 126 Verdolaga Road Las Colonias, Taos, New Mexico, died October 17, 2003. She was the daughter of Robert P. Fina and Nancy J. Fina nee Weiler of Albrightsville, Pennsylvania. Connie graduated from St. Francis Academy in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, and she graduated Cum Laud from Endicott College in Beverly, Massachusetts. Subsequently she earned a BFA Degree from the School of Fine Arts at Kutztown University in Kutztown, Pennsylvania. She and her husband established residence in Taos in 1991. She became an artisan in the Taos Artisans Cooperative Gallery of Fine Crafts on Bent Street in Taos. Connie was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish in Taos and was also an active Guadalupana in the annual June pilgrimage for vocations for the Archdiocese of Santa Fe. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Nancy; her husband, Martin; a son, Joshua Franco and daughter-in-law, Colleen of Albuquerque, New Mexico; a daughter, Jasmine Kern nee Franco and son-in-law, Ryan Kern, of Allentown, Pennsylvania; a step-daughter, Mattea Remaly; a step-son, Cullen Remaly, both of Clinchfield, Georgia, and a brother, Michael J. Fina, in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. All services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Taos, NM. The Guadalupana Women's Rosary will be recited on Thursday, October 23, 2003 at 7:00 p.m. The Holy Memorial Mass will be celebrated by Fr.
