Margaret Ilene Horney, 89, a resident of Albuquerque for 35 years, passed away on October 20, 2003. She is survived by her two daughters, Marcia Ilene Bridges and husband, George of Katy, TX and Rene Elaine Furst and husband, Bruce of Corrales, NM; granddaughter, Natalie Rose Dominguez of Corrales, NM. Margaret was preceded in death by her son, Marc Edward Horney in 1978, who was the twin brother to Rene; and also by her grandson, Jason Michael Villanueva in 1981. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. In later life, she made her home with her daughter and son-in-law, Rene and Bruce Furst and was a resident of Corrales for the last nine years. Friends may visit French Mortuary - Westside Chapel on Wednesday from 7:00 p.m. until 8:30 p.m. Service will be held on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at French Mortuary - University Blvd. Chapel, 1111 University Blvd. NE with Pastor John Heffelfinger, officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery, 924 Menaul Blvd. NE. Friends and family will gather at Margaret's home in Corrales on Thursday after the service.
