Mary Carol Hartley 62 of Clovis died at her home on October 16, 2003. She was born on February 6, 1941 in Waco, Texas to Laddie Earl and Mary Elizabeth McMillan Broadway. She married Teddy Lowe Hartley on May 25, 1962 in Waco Texas. They came to Clovis in 1970.She was a Mother , Homemaker , and Community Supporter but her biggest interest were her Children and her Grandchildren. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. She graduated from Baylor University with a Bachelor's Degree in 1965. She was a member of Athenean at Baylor University, a member of and past president of Delta Delta Delta at Texas Tech University, Tri Delta Alumni Assn. from 1970-86. Active in Junior League in Lubbock, Tx., Past Director of Women's Shelter in Clovis from 1987-88, Cities in Schools from 1993-94, Board of Directors for Clovis/Curry County Chamber of Commerce, 1994-96, President of Clovis/Curry County Chamber 1995-96 and Member of Year in 1995. Member New Mexico First 1993-96, Secretary of New Mexico Governor's Mansion Foundation 1994-96. Active in Democratic Party, Relay for Life in Clovis. She is survived by her Husband Teddy Lowe Hartley of the Home, One Daughter Tana and her husband Dan Yarano of St. Paul, Minnesota. Two Sons Timothy Lowe and his wife Alison Hartley of Rockwall, Tx., and Taylor Lowe Hartley, M.D., of Minneapolis, Minnesota. One Brother Earl Broadway of Waco, Tx., Three Grandchildren Curran Hartley Yarano , Aydan Hartley Yarano , and Gillian Hartley Yarano all of St. Paul Minnesota. She is Preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held Saturday October 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church with Dr. Steve McElroy officiating. Burial will follow at the Hollene Cemetery in Hollene , New Mexico. Pallbearers are Jerry A. McCutchin, Mark White, Dr. Charles E. Jones, Dr. Hugh R. Burch, Dr. Robert L. Clement, and Armand L. Smith. Memorials maybe made to the First United Methodist Church in Clovis in her name.
