Ethel N. Davis, 93, born October 20, 1911, passed away on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 at her home in Albuquerque with her beloved daughter and son-in-law at her side. She was a former resident of Fort Worth, TX where she lived most of her life. She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Norma Lee and Truman Hopkins; grandchildren, Cheryl Vineyard and husband, Mike, Jan Robbins and husband, David, all of New Mexico, Lynda Clements, Cindy Dacus and husband, Mark, and Charles L. Nuckols, all of Texas; 15 great-grandchildren; 9 great-great-grandchildren; and two very special nieces, Alice Anderson and Pauline Johnson of Texas. Ethel was the twelfth child of William H and Sarah Ramsey, who along with her brothers and sister, preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by three husbands, as well as two of her children, Charles E. Nuckols and Violet Louise Nuckols, one granddaughter, Judy Lynne Gilbert, and one great-granddaughter, Denise Vineyard. Ethel was a real estate agent and had a bookkeeping and income tax business for many years in Rendon, Texas. She continued her income tax business after moving to Albuquerque in 1988, up until the time of her death. She was a member of Sandia Baptist Church, where a memorial service will be held Saturday, October 25, 2003 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside services will be held in Ft. Worth, TX.
