Obituary for CASTILLO

Beltran J. Castillo left his precious family on earth to join his heavenly Father on October 11, 2003 at the age of 72. He is survived by his loving wife, Lucilla Castillo; three sons, Gerald Griego and wife, Joanne, Danny Castillo, and Michael Castillo; two daughters, Maryann Castillo and husband, John, and Shirley Castillo. He was blessed with 14 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Also surviving are, three brothers, Sisto Castillo, Joe Castillo and wife, Helen, and Fermin Castillo and wife, Eleanor; two sisters, Tomesita Vance and husband, Paul, and Amantina Lucero and husband, Ray, whom also left us this week, all of Bernalillo. Beltran gave of himself unconditionally, regardless of the size and importance of the need. His aspects of life will continue on in a our hearts forever. "Siempre y por toda la enternidad". Visitations will be Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Alameda Mortuary. A rosary will be recited this evening at 7:45 p.m. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, in Bernalillo. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday at 11:00 a.m. also at the church. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Sorrows Cemetery. Pallbearers will be, John Moreno, Manuel Chavez, Charlie Chavez, Antonio Lucero, Chris Griego, and Richard Griego. Honorary pallbearers will be, David Lucero, Raymond Castillo, and Bruce Sanchez. The family would like to give their special thanks to Cece Baca who cared for our father through out his illness. Services are entrusted to: Alameda Mortuary 9420 4th Street NW 898-3160
