Petra Acosta, 68, passed away October 11, 2003. She was a lifelong resident of Corrales and a member of San Ysidro Catholic Church. Petra was preceded in death by her son Tony Acosta and is survived by her husband of 51 years, Rudy Acosta; children Frank Acosta and wife Anna, Patsy Reed and husband Yoggi, Raymond Acosta and wife Irene, George Acosta, Leroy Acosta, Jo Ann Acosta; 19 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; sisters, Helen Archibeque, Bertha Lovato, and other family members and friends. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her. Services will be held at San Ysidro Parish is Corrales. A rosary will be recited at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, October 13, 2003. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2003 with burial following at San Ysidro Cemetery.
