Mary Louise Chowning, 83, a lifelong resident of Albuquerque, died Sunday, October 5, 2003. She is survived by her son, Patrick Chowning and wife, Wendy of Fallbrook, CA; daughter, Luanne Chowning of Albuquerque; son, Ralph Chowning and wife, Kathy of Moriarty, grandson, Todd Chowning and wife, Jode of Corrales, NM; granddaughter, Michelle Clark of Albuquerque; grandson, Tom Clark of Albuquerque; granddaughter, Valerie Raskob and husband, Chris of Columbus, IN; grandson, Clayton Chowning of Moriarty; and great-grandchildren, Chaz Clark of Albuquerque and Mikaela Clark of Murrieta, CA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Chowning; son, Mike Chowning; and grandson, Scott Chowning. Mrs. Chowning taught for many years at various Albuquerque Schools. Services will be held Wednesday, October 8, 2003, 1:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Lomas Blvd. Chapel, Francis X. Eggert, officiating. Interment will follow at Mt.Calvary Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Todd Chowning, Tom Clark, Clayton Chowning, Valerie Raskob, Chaz Clark, Ralph Chowning. Honorary pallbearers will be Bob Nau and Ben C. Hernandez. Memorial contributions may be made to National Jewish Hospital, 1400 Jackson St., Denver, CO, 80206. Friends may visit French Mortuary, one hour prior to service.
