Obituary for RECTOR

Richard E. Rector, 67, a resident of Albuquerque and a former resident of Romeoville, IL, at rest on Monday, October 6, 2003. He is survived by Louise, his wife of 45 years; two daughters: Leslie (Eddie) Ortiz and Elizabeth Rector; and precious grandson, Evan Ortiz, all of Albuquerque; his mother, Thelma (Charlie) Briscoe Beer of Dix, IL; his father, Kelley (Blanche) Rector of Mt. Vernon, IL; three sisters: Dorina (Richard) Knight of Edwardsville, IL, Marcie (Jim) Zweifel of St. Louis, MO and Sharon (Don) Leffler of Mt. Vernon, IL; two brothers: Donnie (Dixie) Rector of Opdyke, IL and Bob (Pam) Rector of Athens, IL; and nieces, nephews, great-nephews and great-nieces, all of Illinois. Richard served in the United States Marine Corps and was a graduate of Southern Illinois University. He worked as a teacher, then in management at Distillers Company, Ltd. in Plainfield, IL. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be held Thursday, October 9, 2003, at 4:00 p.m., at French Mortuary, Wyoming Blvd. Chapel.
