William Madsen, a resident of Albuquerque for 53 years, passed away Sunday, September 28, 2003. William was the owner and operator of Madsen Carpet Service for 30 years. He enjoyed working around the family home. As a veteran of World War II, he served in the U.S. Army. He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Marietta Madsen; son, Gary Madsen of Amarillo, TX; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 8100 Mountain Road NE, Suite 102 Albuquerque, NM 87110.
