Rev. E. Bruce Potter, 74, a resident of Albuquerque, died at his home on September 25, 2003. He is survived by his son, Dennis Potter and wife, Mary Ann of Albuquerque and their children, Andrew and Kari. He is also survived by his daughter Christine Potter and husband, John Pope of Boulder, CO and their daughter, Robin; brother, Warren Potter of Napa, CA; and sister, Joan Irwin and husband, Joe of Phelan, CA. Rev. Potter received his Divinity Degree from the San Francisco Theological Seminary in 1954 and was ordained and served in the Presbyterian Church before retiring in 1962. He earned a PhD in Education in 1968 from the University of New Mexico and was an Associate Dean at UNM until his retirement in 1994. Bruce enjoyed photography, square and round dancing, and traveling with his longtime friend, Peggy Valdez. Cremation has taken place and memorial services will be Friday, October 17, 2003 at 3:00 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 215 Locust NE with Rev. Tom Hart, officiating.
