Lorinda Therese Schramm died September 28, 2003 at her brother's home in Edgewood. She was born on September 25, 1952 in Bay City, Michigan, the daughter of Leonard and Lillian Schramm. Sister of Carolyn Bruzewski, Kenneth Schramm and his wife, Betty, Douglas Schramm and his wife, Constance Roy, Melissa Tivvis and Timothy Schramm. Aunt of Cindy, Greg, Darrol, Karen, Cheryl, Steven, Kimberly, Curtis and Leslie; great-aunt of Ben, Holly, Ian, Valerie, Bethanie, Kayleigh and Jacob. Lori came to Albuquerque in 1985. Lori was a well respected member of the community and was loved by her coworkers, church community and everyone who came into contact with her. She championed for human rights and support for the disenfranchised. Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2003, 10:30 a.m. at First Congregational United Church of Christ, 2801 Lomas NE. Thanks to chemo nurses, Delores, Rose, Dorothy, Dr. Mitch Binder and the staff at Lovelace Hospice. The family asks in lieu of flowers that donations be made to the charity of your choice in her name. "Never say goodbye just say so long."
