Obituary for CHAVEZ

Dolores M. "Flo" Chavez, 82, went home to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday September 27, 2003. She passed away peacefully at her home in the loving presence of her family. She was born in Red Canyon New Mexico, on January 28, 1921 and was a life time resident of Mountainair, New Mexico. Dolores was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Albarito Chavez; and her beloved mother, Maximiliana Montano. She is survived by her loving children, Craig Nester Chavez, Virginia and husband, Nick Lopez, Cindy and husband, Juan Cordova; and her beloved grandchildren, Abraham Larry Chavez, Jennee Aragon, Johnathan Cordova, Andres Cordova, Valerie Lopez and Sally Lopez; her beloved great-grandchildren Albert and Aliza Chavez. She was also a beloved sister to Juan Montano, Maggie Vega, Rosalia Luna, Felis Baca, Marcelino Montano and Melescio Montano. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and close friend Ron Garcia, and many other dear friends. Dolores devoted her entire life to a Christianity Faith. She will be remembered for loving smile and her kind and gentle nature and her generosity to many people and will be deeply missed. Christian services will be held on Wednesday October 1, 2003 at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, New Mexico at 1:00 p.m., and viewing will be held from 9:00 am to 12:00 p.m. also at the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary. Pallbearers will be, Craig Nester Chavez, Abraham Larry Chavez, Ronnie Garcia, Virginia Lopez, Valerie Lopez, and Cindy Chavez. Arrangements were entrusted to the Harris-Hanlon Mortuary in Mountainair, NM.
