Obituary for URIAS

David D. Urias, Sr., 57, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away on September 23, 2003. He is survived by his wife, Estella Urias of Albuquerque; daughter, Gina Urias-Sandoval and husband, Patrick of Albuquerque; son, David Herrera Urias and wife, Yolanda of Albuquerque; son, Robert Urias of Seattle, WA; sister, Pilar Urias of Van Horn, TX; brother, Manuel D. Urias, Sr. and wife, Socorro of Van Horn, TX; four grandsons, Gregory Patrick Sandoval, Nicholas David Sandoval, Cristobal Miguel Urias and Gabriel Santiago Urias. David is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews including Michael Juarez Aguilar, who was like a son to him. He was a member of St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church. Rosary will be recited on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. at St. Joseph on the Rio Grande Catholic Church, 5901 St. Joseph Dr. NW with the Legion of Mary, reciting. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday at 9:00 a.m. also at the church with Father Frank Prieto, celebrant. Pallbearers will be Antonio Aguilar, Lorenzo Aguilar, Guadalupe Ramirez, Jr., Ismael Ramirez, Manuel Urias, Jr., Carlos Urias, Alberto Urias, Johnny Urias and his Godson, Jesus Miguel Campuzano. David left this world after battling a lengthy illness, but his loving and courageous spirit will never be forgotten. He was greatly adored by his wife, his family, his friends and all who knew him, and will be especially missed by his four beautiful grandsons. French Mortuary 9300 Golf Course Rd.
