Obituary for HICKEY

Agnes E. Hickey, "Tootie", 93 of Independence, Oregon passed away September 12, 2003 in Salem, Oregon. Agnes, a homemaker, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, was born May 27, 1910 in Fairbury, Nebraska. Agnes lived throughout the western United States including Nebraska, New Mexico and Oregon. She is survived by her two sons Michael Hickey of Alamogordo, New Mexico and Lawrence Hickey of Independence, Oregon, sister Rose Schinost of Beatrice, Nebraska and sister Veronica Pepperkorn of Beatrice, Nebraska, as well as 13 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, John Joseph Hickey, on July 10, 1991 and grandson, Edward Lee Hickey, September 26, 1991. A Memorial Service was held in Independence, Oregon on Saturday, September 20, 2003. Mass will be on Friday, July 26 2003 at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady Of Annunciation Church, 2532 Vermont St NE, Albuquerque, NM (505) 298-7553, where Mrs. Hickey was an original parishiner, as well as a the second President of the Women's Guild.. Interment and commemorative service will be on Friday, July 26, 2003 at 11:30 am, Santa Fe National Cemetery, 501 North Guadalupe St., Santa Fe, NM 87501, (505) 988-6400.
